The self-service will be set up on the road leading to the civic center and vendors from the fair will bring the food and prepare it. For those who want to sit and eat, there will be tables set up under a tent with social distancing measures in place. Fair food self-service has become increasingly popular across the country. The Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa, West Palm Beach Fairgrounds in Miami, and many other locations have adopted this concept. You can expect to find all sorts of treats like funnel cakes, fried Oreo cookies, cotton candy, sweet apples, snow buns, steak with cheese, turkey thighs, roasted corn, pizza, French fries and much more.
This event is sure to whet your appetite for when the fair returns in February. If you're looking for hot dog stands in Lee County or elsewhere in Southwest Florida, you'll be out of luck as Nathan's Famous has closed its last store in the area. However, you can still find packages of sausages sold in supermarkets. When it comes to mobile food delivery vehicles and hot dog carts, you'll need to get a review and inspection of your plan before you can get a license approved.
